Just came back from my first exploration of Feast, owned by the former chef at The Dish. How wonderful! I really wanted to get a fork and taste a little of everything they had to offer and LOTS!! of people came in to take-out. I dined in and had several marvelous dishes including a carrot soup made with lemongrass and ginger, and a piece of polenta with corn and scallions that was so light I could hardly believe it was related to what I turn out at home. Many many wines by the glass at reasonable prices. Moderately priced. OH, yeah, the ice cream... different every day I gather. Tonight was orange/pistachio. Whew! Nothing like commercial ice cream. This was barely sweet, not artificially anythinged, and had "billions and billions" of pistachios in it. (served just a bit too cold for me-couldn't spoon it for quite a while).
