I am in the midst of a kitchen remodel and will not have access to my stove or microwave for a couple days and will need to rely on restaurants/take-out for dinner. Most of my take-out ordering is done at work so I am not really into the Glastonbury take-out scene. What's good? What should be avoided?
This is what I have sampled in the past:
Ming Bao - decent typical Chinese-American fare, nothing earth shattering
Pizza from Highland Park Market - surprisingly good, thinner crust, nice char
Whole Foods - love their prepared foods area
Chikurin - quality Japanese and (surprisingly) good Thai food as well
I have seen older rave reviews for Char Koon in S. Glastonbury. Is it still a solid take-out place?
