We all know about the dreaded Mother's Day menus at restaurants. When I go out to dinner on Mother's Day (sans mother), I stick to the ethnic places who don't make a big deal of it. But this year for the first time that I can recall, I encountered a Father's Day menu. We went to eat at Malibu Grill (Bailey's Crossroads) and their special FD menu was the same as their regular menu, only the price was $3 higher for the all-you-can-stand churrascaria dinner. Nothing special about it.
The place was more crowded than I've ever seen it on a Sunday evening, so I guess whatever their strategy, it must be working.
