Family Gatherings on the North Side: An alternate to Reza's

kafclown | Feb 9, 201507:14 AM     2

We have a lot of family celebration/dinner get together's on the North Side now. We often end up at Reza's because nobody can think of a different place.

I like Reza's, but I'd like an alternative.

What's your go-to place?

It has to be:
• family friendly
• accomodating of large groups, we number between 14-20.
• a relatively wide menu, with stuff for vegetarians, glucose-free, nut-free people
•good value/price. (see large numbers of people above)
• non-pizza (too many opinions on what is good/bad/a travesty)
• In the Uptown/edgewater/rogers park/lakeview/evanston area. (That's where most of the families are coming from.

Got any ideas? Please post them.
