Fajita Veggies - Tender/Crisp or Fully Cooked/Soft?

I can't think of any instance in which I which I prefer limp veggies over tender/crisp, but realize that when it comes to fajitas, there may be a case to be made for the limp camp.

So, am I being too stiff-necked? Should I (and my veggies) be more flexible, at least as far as fajitas go? What's YOUR preference for fajitas?
