We had a fabulous meal from start to finsh at Caffe Umbra, on Washington Street in the South End. The wild striped bass special($21)was superb, and the shellfish was outstanding,(as I don't eat it I can't say how). The rack of lamb was also excellent. Now if we could only convince these wonderful places to put up some sound baffling, they would be instant return venues. By 9:00PM you could not hear yourself chew. Until then it was very manageable, and the service was most cordial and enlightened.
Still looking for information on Lucy's in Coolidge Corner, a new restaurant.
