I had been passing this restaurant daily and watching the progress of their remodel (they took over China Inn on Thousand Oaks Blvd, near Rancho Rd.). They've now been open for 2 months. I went for lunch recently, and I was very impressed. They serve Italian - no surprise there. I had salmon with polenta, grilled zucchini and something else I can't remember. The bread they serve at the beginning (foccacio & some other white bread) comes with 3 different sauces (marinara, olive oil, and pesto). All the food I tried was really good. The place is small and has a great romantic atmosphere. The booths are comfortable, and private. I'll be back. Have any other chowhounds out there been?
