Want gingerbread-spiced candied ones?
Preheat your oven to 300F.
Combine in a medium-large saucepan on low-medium heat:
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. ground cloves (1/4 tsp. is called for; I like the darker flavour with 1/2)
2 pinches salt (or 1 pinch if you use salted butter)
Once bubbling and combined, kill the heat and stir in 2 cups pecan halves.
Stir until all the nuts are coated; spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking pan. Toss in the oven 20+ mins., until fragrant and crisp. Cool completely, stirring/hitting occasionally to break up clumps. Once cooled, you can store them in a jar or a Tupperware -- but unless I'm the world's most gluttonous SOB, they won't last you that long either. :)
