When I lived in Boston, my girlfriend and I used to frequent this remarkable Ethiopian restaurant, called Adis Red Sea, set off from one of the charming side streets in the Back Bay (if you're in Boston--go there). They served heaping platters of succulent meat and vegetable dishes, which we scooped up with their fragrant, slightly tangy griddle bread, called injera.
In any case, here in So Cal, we are forced to make the drive all the way up to Ethiopian row in LA in order to sample this unique and flavorful cuisine (we generally go to Nyala on Fairfax).
Does anyone know if there are any Ethiopian restaurants in the OC area, preferably somewhere near Irvine?
