Estia Greek Taverna Radnor

UncleMorty | Apr 18, 201504:09 AM

Went to Estia in Radnor last night and had a mostly enjoyable meal albeit a very expensive one. We had all seafood based dishes with the highlight being the grilled octopus. Unlike octopus at many places it was tender and done to perfection. The lowlight was the house special seafood linguine in which the seafood was just hammered overdone and the sauce ended up to be this pasty substance. They offer whole fish by the pound in the $45/pound range which sounds high but a pound was easily an ample serving for 2. We also ordered a crab cake to try it and while the crab was nice, there was a seasoning on it that we couldn't figure out that was just wrong. In showing the crowd it was in fact a Greek themed menu, just about everything included feta.

The crowd was definitely the main liney see and be seen variety who I guess likes to pay a lot. I'm not going to rush back but when I get there I'll just get the octopus and be satisfied with my wallet intact.
