Since I was a young girl, I have loved escargots. Reading all the posts here, I have seen next to no mention of this food/dish on the board. Perhaps it is too "old school" anymore, but I definitely want to enjoy it while in Paris, and perhaps more than once while I'm there. Any recommendations? Zagat has one restaurant devoted to the snail called "L'Escargot Montorgueil" and if anyone has been there, please let me know. The review in Zagat was good; the place is not in any of my other guides. Not that that matters!
For the record, I adore the traditional swimming-in-garlic preparation, but would love to try others as well.
