Hello, my name is Young. I am what you'd call a lurker.lol. I poste at a site @ NJO.com from time to time but for a recent request that went unanswered I will try here.
There was big talk about whether escargot served in NJ was fresh or canned. Many made thier point some saying it was illegal. In the end, it is NOT illegal but a conclusion was drawn that 99% of NJ restaurants used escagrot from a can.
A reviewer that works there mentioned delicious escargot he had recently . When asked if he knew they were canned he chose to ignore the question. My question to all here is - do you know you are eating something canned when ordering Escargot or do you believe they are fresh as did the above mentioned reviewer?
