Remember those heaping plates and cheap prices? No more. The newly-remodeled Kam's on Balboa (next to the Balboa Theater) reopened on Sunday May 6 with a new sign and a brightly-blue-and-orange awning over the door.
I'm scratching it from the almond pressed duck/wor sieu opp source list; it tasted more like flavorless chicken without the richness of duck...
on the plus side, the shrimp in the overly-sweetly-sauced House Eggplant Special and in the Seafood Claypot were perfectly not-overcooked, remaining moist to the bite.
