Enameled Cast Iron Skillet

PneumaticTubes | Dec 12, 201908:56 AM     11

I like my Lodge cast iron skillet but for the life of me cannot stop myself from washing it in a way they tell you not to in order to build that "patina". I love my Le Creuset dutch oven. How about an enameled cast iron skillet as a compromise? I feel like my washing the cast iron pan defeats the purpose. Will the enameled skillet stand up to repeated uses the way the Lodge does? I don't use the dutch oven nearly as often as I do the cast iron skillet. Or just wash the Lodge as I am and make my peace with it? ;)
