emergency help to fix my choc glaze

I did as the recipe instructed and put 2 oz unsweet choc, 1/4 cup cream and 1/2 tsp vanilla in a dbl boiler to melt. All lumpy now. I don't think any water snuck in. I read once about a fix for this scenario but can't remember it. Can someone help me? (This is for a choc cake.) Thx!
