I tried my first elote from the delicias elenitas truck yesterday evening. A n elote cost 1.50 and is carefully dressed with mayonesa cotija and chile. The corns are presumably boiled or steamed.
I can best describe it much like eating a puffy salty robe. Pretty rich but a delicious thing once in a while.
La Fondita has completely revamped its interior - making it look much like La Texanita. It is really nice inside now.
