Ellen's Danish Pancake House | Buellton

Melanie Wong | Mar 1, 201809:38 PM     1

Would never have occurred to me that ordering the Danish pancakes for breakfast at a place called Ellen's Danish Pancake House could be a mistake. The pancakes were not that thin, had little flavor and were served with low quality syrup. The Swedish pancakes at Kady's in Kingsburg are so much better, it's not funny.

One bright spot was the strawberry jam at table, a much better accompaniment than the syrup. Wondering what folks order here . . . a plate of biscuits and gravy that went by looked like it could be good, and the hash browns had potential.
