Help an elderly chowhound -- great food & really comfy chairs in downtown SF?

I'm having lunch soon with a chowhound who is in his late 80s and frail. I need to come up with a lunch location in downtown SF or Civic Center that has extremely comfortable plush chairs or padded booths, and delicious food. He used to go to Stars regularly because of their big plush booths, but of course it's been closed for some time. It also needs to be somewhere with very few steps to navigate, since he walks slowly with a cane.

I just don't have a mental inventory of restaurants by chair type! Any suggestions? Does Farallon have booths and plush chairs? How about Absinthe? Thanks for your help.
