El Norteno Taco Truck - Hall of Justice

gordon wing | Dec 17, 200402:18 AM     8

was intrigued by Mil's strong recommendation for El Norteno Taco Truck the other day. had time today to swing by on the way to work and found a parking spot nearby - tried three tacos: 1 cabeza, 1 carne asada and 1 carnitas. The cabeza had a strong (and not too pleasant) after taste that was a bit unusual - I don't think I've encountered this flavor in cabeza before. The carne asada was OK but the carnitas was a standout - very flavorful, some nice carmelized bits in there. Would go back for the carnitas again. the tacos were prepared in the usual manner: double corn tortillas - the meat garnished with chopped cilantro and raw onion - $1.25 each for the tacos. thanks, Mil!
