El Huarique again.

Today I asked them to put together a "sampler" plate, a combination. He said sure - come back in 10-15 minutes. I took in the uh..."colorful" neighborhood and came back 15 minutes later.

Wow! I regret I didn't take a picture of it. (just forgot). But it was quite impressive - and beautiful. A two plate assortment of seafood cebiches , some very crunchy fritto mixto, a couple causa topped with shrimp, mussels, etc.

Quite a feast - two plates worth, with a soda was $29. I managed to finish it off, but I could see sharing it.

I asked him what to call this dish - he said "pique". Ask for that and you'll get an impressive experience. And take a pic and post it.
