Egg source?

Foodshopgirl | Apr 4, 2003 07:36 AM

For years I've been making a weekly pilgrimage from Metrowest to Wilson Farms. The produce there is great, obviously, and they have really nice chicken and their own eggs. The eggs aren't warm-from-nest fresh, but they sure beat supermarket eggs (including B&C eggs). Anyhow, I've been recently introduced to the wonders of Russo's. The produce seems at least as nice as Wilson's and, I'm pretty sure, it's cheaper. But, although I didn't try the eggs, they looked like standard supermarket ones. My question is, if I start going to Russo's, is there anyplace in that area that has eggs at least as good as Wilson's? My ideal would be antibiotic-free & free-range, too, but I'd settle for fresh. If there's nowhere around there, I'd be interested in everyone's faves anywhere. Thanks!
