a quick rundown on a great dinner..1pm seating, about 3/4 full..no special easter menu, everything was available..3 of us, started with lumpmeat crab cocktail, shrimp cocktail and grilled portabellos..all yummy, fresh and clean..dad had a huge meltingly tender osso bucco with feathery pillows of gnocchi, claudia had a red snapper livornese that was subtle and mellow, not in your face like a lot of chefs do thier livornese, i had a lovely rack of lamb, 5 diamond like chops perfectly pink with crispy shreds on the end of the bone, they served a very interesting tuscan bean/potato puree spiked with garlic, and we had some fried zucchini, julliened like frites, perfectly fried and greaseless...o yum....a beatiful tuscan red that was on thier monthly special list($40, but shame i can't recall the name, '97), oh and yea dessert.....a choclate vesuvio, dark almost wet choc cake with coconut gelato on an almond cookie, bannana bread pudding and ricotta cheescake, espresso and a glass of ch. doisy sauternes..no rush ,good service, great food and reasonable prices..not cheap but certainly not out of line with the quality of thier food.....
