East Bay Thai in Newark - Report

Han Lukito | Apr 7, 200506:19 PM     2

Situated between on Thornton and Cedar, this little place is actually quite nice. Here are the things we tried:

-Grilled pork marinated in honey and some aromatic spices. Tender and has that delicious smoky flavor.

-Larb Gai is ground chicken with probably a little basil flavor on top of cabbage leaves. Good

-Tiger shrimp breaded and fried, just ok

-Calamari salad has lots of sour tone and a bit too sweet for me but still ok. Not as good as the late TAM in Milpitas.

-Pad Thai here is pretty good. A bit sweet but tasty. Not enough shrimps though.

-Curry chicken is tasty. Nice seasonings

We were able to taste so many items off the buffet menu as well but those are the standouts.
