The Durham Fair (CT)...I had no idea how awesome the food selection was

I went to the Durham fair for the first time yesterday. We did about 15 minutes of non-eating stuff and spent a few hours going up and down the food vendor streets. It was amazing. They have burgers, dogs, candy, ice cream, bloomin' onions, cheesesteaks, sausage and pepper grinders, gyros, chowder, jamaican beef patties....seriously everything you could want...and way more.

Here's what we had (4 of us):
chili cheese dog
fried dough w/ sauce
fried oreos (way better than we expected them to be)
corn dog
pulled pork sandwich (made by town republicans...and wicked good)
bloomin onion (the only "meh" thing we ate)
Italian ice (lemon ice?)
ice cream

There were many things we wanted to try but couldn't fit into our bellies.
I will DEFINITELY go to this fair next year and I'd like to try the fabulous looking roast beef sandwiches, deep fried milky way, maybe some chowder.

Durham...see you next year!
