Duplicate Place issues

I can't find the original topic so here goes...

Yes, Link To A Place still does not seem to work consistently. Sometimes it finds existing Places, sometimes not.

This may have been mentioned before, but I just noticed that including Apostrophes will screw up your query. Example - searching for Henrys gives different results than Henry's .

I would suggest that apostrophes be stripped out when querying (and possibly indexing).

A new feature that might help (or complicate :-) the Place search would be to add an 'alternate spelling' field to each Place. Example - I've seen JNJ Burger also listed as J&J, J and J, etc.
