Within the past couple of months, I have had great duck at two places: the now-famed Grocery in Brooklyn (Smith around somewhere like Union) and confit canard at a little bistro on Prince Street around Elizabeth and Mott called Margot. It's amazing how a dish that I suppose that I should have known for so long escaped my attention to this late date. But anyway, both had terrific duck dishes, using all the deliciousness of the fattiness of the duck for all it's worth. Any other recommendations for great duck dishes around town?
