Thanks again for the restaurant info. We ended up going to Bergamo's our first night in town. The food was good- nothing special though. I had sea bass and everyone else had various pasta dishes. Seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. My dish was supposed to come with gnocchi but the waiter brought it out without any. When I asked about it, he said they ran out. He then offered to bring me something else (can't remember now), and ended up bringing out... gnocchi. The singing was fun but a bit loud and went on for quite a bit before a break. I would say to go there if you don't care to have any conversation at all b/c it is quite loud. Of course, we were seated right next to the piano; I noticed that there was seating in a side room that is probably perfect to get the atmosphere of the restaurant and still be able to talk.
We had reservations for Cafe Tu Tu Tango (not sure if I have that right) which I was really looking forward to but we ended up running too late at the attractions. Another day we did take out Thai Thani. This was really really bad. Maybe the sit down food is better, but we got there right as they opened so it seemed like the food should have been fresh. The rice had that taste and texture like it was old and reheated. The noodles in the pad thai were sticking together in one gloppy mess.
All in all I wasn't impressed, but I'm sure Orlando has great eats to offer if we were willing to venture out of the I-Drive area. It just wasn't convenient for us to do that this time. I hope this is of some value to you. Take care...
