So I had dim sum at Dragon Star Restaurant in Eden today, which renewed my feeling that it might be the best in the area [still haven't been to New Fortune]. I'm writing because something amazing [or at least positive] happened service-wise.
We got a plate of taro dumplings, and they turned out to be too fried. The outer hulls were dark brown, excessively durable, and grease-soaked. I bit into one, and then didn't touch the rest.
Spontaneously, one of the staff came over, said she thought the taro dumplings were messed up, and set down a new plate of good ones. We never even said anything. Never had anything like that happen at a restaurant before, let alone a dim sum place, which tend to be a little lower on the customer service spectrum.
I just thought I should write up good things as well as bad [i.e. the following post].
