there's a new an dong in town

wayne | Dec 7, 200510:29 PM     6

For those of you who loved An Dong in Sunset Park (which closed/relocated to the East Village as Nickys) but found that the nearby Ba Xuyen, while making a good product, just didn't hit the spot: your Vietnamese Sandwich prayers have been answered.

A shop offering a veritable carbon copy of the An Dong VS has opened very near by the old location.

Thanh Da
5624-B 8th Ave
(it's actually right off the corner on 57th St)

Go for good old #1, extra spicy of course, and you will leave happy.

For a description of the product mentioned above (the tastiest VS in town) - below is my original post from when I discovered An Dong.
