If you haven't seen it already, Eat This New York is ending this Thursday with a bang at the Coolidge Corner Theater. It follows two guys as they try to set up their own French style cafe in Williamsburg. Best part of the movie for me though, was getting to see interviews with Ruth Reichel, Sirio Maccioni of Le Cirque, Daniel Bouloud, etc. Sounds like it could be a fun Chowhound spontaneous outing. (I will actually be in nyc that day, otherwise would have loved to join).
Thursday is the final day for EAT THIS NEW YORK, the delicious new documentary about opening a restaurant in cutthroat New York City. Even though the film is New York-centric, it touches on the universal challenges and overall risky business of running a restaurant which is a factor in every city - especially a restaurant filled hub like Boston. So, for one special big screen show, it's Eat This Boston, as after the film we'll have a chat with two of our city's hottest chefs TODD ENGLISH of Figs and Olives, and LYDIA SHIRE of Biba and Pignoli.
