Hearing that James Gandolfini was a part owner probably shouldn't have gotten me as psyched as I was but I needed a steak place and this was conveniently located - and I was curious. It started poorly when the bartender literally poured my cocktail into my lap. It was an accident and she was incredibly apologetic but things didnt get much better.

The waitress was nice enough but couldn;t recommend any favorite appetizers and so we skipped them in lieu of sides and the "salad" that she said was coming. This salad that she spoke of was worse than anything ive ever made in my own kitchen. It was literally coarsely chopped Romaine and Iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and what looked and tasted like sliced black olives from the can. It looked like something in a school cafeteria and I am not exaggerating.

The DelMonico was my steak of choice and it was fine if not a little too fatty. It was super salted which is fine and cooked properly. Our sides were the garlic broccoli, steak fries and mushrooms. The broccoli tasted microwaved and garlic salted, the fries were out of a bag and the mushrooms were shitake and small-capped Asian mushrooms that went with steak like a big glob of mayo. Horrific.
