When a Dipper is a Dip

breadchick | Nov 30, 201707:32 PM

Scene: family member pulls a crispy cheese topped dip from the oven and sets it to rest for a bit before serving. It looks divine. Backs are turned to get other stuff out for the table. A guy comes in (not family, but someone's friend) and sees the dip. Before we can see what he's doing, he's scraped a couple crackers across the entire top of the dip - removing and ruining the look and the best part (of course!!)

We were appalled, but didn't say anything. We did make a pact to never let this jerk near the kitchen - or maybe in our houses - again.

We would have added more cheese and thrown it back under the broiler, but she brought it with her and didn't have any extra.

What say you? Any lovely guests this past Thanksgiving?
