dinner for two tonight in Daly City or Colma?

susancinsf | Nov 18, 200402:02 PM     2

I have to go to Home Depot tonight, and I HATE the place....so can the Hounds recommend somewhere nearby that hubby and I could go afterwards to calm me down (I always seem to find something about that store worthy of a rant)? I am woefully ignorant of restaurants in Daly City/Colma other than Koi Palace, which might be a bit more frantic than I will be in the mood for, (or would it on a Thursday night?) and a search isn't coming up with much else, other than bbq, which hubby has vetoed.

Would prefer anywhere around or north of Colma off of 280, inexpensive, comforting, preferably Asian (it would be a good night for some roast meat and/or noodles!), with wine or decent beer available. hubby also would prefer it not be Mexican, otherwise he is open to anything...

Or should I give up on Daly City/Colma and circle back around 380 to one of the spots in South San Francisco or San Bruno?

Thanks for any advice!
