I'm having a dinner gathering for a friend's birthday this Saturday, and need to find a good place to eat for a large group (20-25 people) of twenty-somethings. The group is fairly diverse, and includes both people with disposable incomes and people of a more artistic bent, so somewhere not horribly expensive with universal appeal would be best.
Somewhere vegetarian-friendly (not vegetarian-centric) and not Japanese (birthday boy's not a big fan) would be ideal. One suggestion I was considering was Churrascaria Plataforma, but it might be a bit steep price-wise and artery-wise. Also a friend recommended The Globe, which I don't know much about.
