Just got back from a group (6) dinner with friends at Oya. Beautiful setting, great food but what a nightmare of an evening. Long delays between times that the waiter paid attention to us, four great main courses (duck, scallops (me - perfectly prepared), tuna, sea bass) and one horror - a piece of prime loin meat that was so tough my friends could not even cut through it. Sent it back, they were promised another one that arrived WAY after all of us were done. Took forever to get the check and, while they comped the wine and my friend's steak, we had to literally waive the bill standing up in the middle of the restaurant to get someone's attention. Oh, and their mark-up on wines is absolutely egregious.
While we did enjoy the food and the surroundings very much, the whole experience left me so frustrated that I will not go back.
