Went to Le Poisson Rouge this week-end (tried reservations at a couple of other BYOBs before, but there appears to be this new restaurant trend of offering seatings only at 6 or at 9, neither of which was convenient for us - LPR was similar but a bit more flexible). We both chose the table d'Hote, with appetizer, soup, entree, and dessert for 33$. I won't mention all the dishes, but overall the food qualified as 'good to just-OK'. Service was friendly and efficient; the tiny restaurant was packed with a lively crowd and so was a bit on the noisy side. With a price/taste ratio that I consider a bit high, I probably wouldn't recommend this restaurant as a first choice.
