Restaurants & Bars 3

Dinner after a funeral

My aunt will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in early June and as the sole DC-area resident, I am trying to to come up with a restaurant for the family to go to after the service. I'm expecting a group of about ten to fifteen, with some family members in DC, some in Montgomery County, and some in Northern Virginia. The group includes my elderly father, who has difficulty walking very far. We will all be driving, I would anticipate, but anything too far out in the burbs would be too difficult for everyone to get to.

These are not adventurous eaters, so anything ethnic is out of consideration (to my Texas family that means Italian and Asian are out and Mexican is okay). I'm looking for something mid-priced with a nice atmosphere befitting the occaision. A co-worker suggested Clydes in Georgetown because of the central location but I think parking would be too much of a hassle and it might be too casual/touristy. Kinceads is nice, of course, but too pricey, as are the DC steak houses.

Suggestions much appreciated.
