I met Mrs. wineguy7 for dinner at Estia on Grant Avenue in San Francisco this evening. We thought all of our dishes to be outstanding. Started off with a creamy tzaziki and warm pita. Next was the flaming lamb and orange sausage. It was not very fatty, but very juicy. Then Creta Dako, a very refreshing kind of bruschetta on a crusty bread with lots of fresh oregano, diced tomatoes, some greens cheese. Main courses were Pastitsio for Mrs. wineguy7 (dense, but light) and Lamb Shank over orzo for me (tender and flavorful). All topped off with a soft bottle of Xyromavro. Total including tax and tip: $100.
