Ever since moving to Western North Carolina from the San Francisco Bay area we've been amazed and pleased with the quality and diversity of food available. Diversity, that is, except ion of at least one style of food that we sorely miss. Dim Sum!
We have found an outstanding place to get our Dim Sum - in Charlotte, a four hour drive. We have driven there for lunch and to fill up a styrofoam with blue ice chest with partially steamed Dim Sum. But why oh why can't a cosmopolitan area such as Asheville have one good quality, reasonable-priced Dim Sum restaurant?
BTW: The Dim Sum restaurant in Charlotte? "The Dim Sum Chinese Restaurant "on Central Avenue.
