Ok, I'm not the best restaurant reviewer in the world, but I did want to get the word out on this place. Its a tiny little restaurant on Forest, just east of Greenville. A friend suggested it Thursday night, and I'm always game for something new.

I had ethiopian before. There were a couple of decent places around when I lived in Ann Arbor and Detroit.

Lalibela Ethiopian is kinda like the neighborhood ethiopian place. You know like Cheers. Everyone there seemed to know each other. The basketball game was on and everyone was eating and yelling.

I am getting over a cold and decided to just order a Coke. Imagine my excitement when the girl brought out a glass bottle with that fantistic sticker that indicated this was Mexican Coca Cola. YEAH!!

We decided to just take it easy and get two veggie platters. This came out as a big tray with injera covered in dollops of saucy lentils, spinach and beets. Of course, no knifes and forks were provided, so we just took our injera and dug in. It was delicious. I'm not all sure the official name of some of the things I ate, but overall, everything was tasty.

I've never really seen this place listed anywhere. So, I just thought I would put its name out there cuz ethiopian is fun and different.
