[DFW] Cafe Roti

Scott | Jan 20, 2005 02:34 PM

The second location of Cafe Roti (from the owners of India Palace) recently opened on McKinney, adjacent to Cretia's. Brightly colored walls, polished concrete floors, and a partially open kitchen. Incongruous Muzak (e.g., theme from The Godfather) pumped over the system. The format is fast casual. Order and pay at the register, take a numbered card to your table, and wait for the food to arrive. Prices are on the high side, especially given the format. Eleven bucks bought me rice, roti, and chicken tikka masala of mediocre quality.

Has anyone been to their location up in Plano? Positive or negative experiences? Does their menu have stronger and weaker points?

Scott
