I've been trying and failing to retrieve a recipe I found on a Chowhound thread not long ago that I foolishly didn't save.
Here's what I remember of it: It called for halving and broiling an eggplant until it collapsed, scooping out the pulp, and mixing it with yogurt and spices that included cumin. It was described as a "silky" dip.
Can anybody help? Please? I made it once and it was wonderful.
