Desert Sushi Help

Paladar | Oct 17, 2009 07:40 PM

Heading out for my annual trip to the desert (Rancho Mirage specifically). While there I have a group who demands a "sushi" night. There's about 10 of us. In the past we've eaten at both Mikado and Hibachi (for both sushi and teppanyaki -- the latter is less important to the group). Just wondering how the quality is holding up at these places or is there somewhere better that's cropped up? Atmosphere is as important as good food.

Thanks in advance.
