Dented/Scratched Aluminum Baking Pans?

JayCook | Sep 23, 201509:59 AM     7

I just received some stuff from Nordicware and some of the items were dented or scratched. Is this normal? I know aluminum is softer but since they are brand new, I expected them to be okay.

Is it worth exchanging?

I received 2 loaf pans, one is fine, other has small dent on bottom... barely noticeable.
The half sheet and 9x9 pan were fine but the 9x13 I received had a pretty large dent. I also got a muffin pan and it has some serious scratches, nearly looking like it was slid across the concrete in some sports on the top.

These items got such great reviews so I thought maybe this is just what to expect? It is free to exchange (Amazon) but takes time of course. I would stink to exchange and get damaged stuff again so wanted opinions. Thanks!
