I just took delivery of a 20 cm Demeyere Atlantis saucepan, and after inspection I noticed that the outer edge does not lie against the cooktop. It's about 1 m.m of, and instead the pan is in contact about 2 cm from the edge. I would not have noticed this if I didn't put a straight object against the bottom, since it sits flat on the stovetop.
This is not how my other discbased cookware is constructed, and it made me wonder if Demeyere creates this line like this, or if I have recieved a defect. I would be very grateful if someone owning a Demeyere saucepan could check with theirs to help me out if I should return this one or not.
