I just had something delightful - Tandoori Chicken USA

Bung | Jun 4, 200209:29 PM

Tandoori Chicken USA is a funky drive in which has
been converted into a carry out tandoori restaurant.
I have driven by it a couple of times and today
I decided to take the plunge. I knew I was on
to something when I smelled mesquite from the
tandoor all the way at the end of the parking lot.

I ordered a tandoori chicken sandwich which came
on a folded fresh naan. The chicken had a delightful
smoky taste due to the hardwood tandoor and was
fairly spicy hot. To my amazement, unlike a lot
of Indian places that charge an arm and a leg for
a bottle of beer, they had a very tasteful selection
of draft beer by the pint, at last a fusion of
east meets west that truly satisfys.

They also have currys and samosas etc. A cheeseburger
is $3.29.

3850 San Pablo Dam Road
El Sobrante.
