Had dinner for the first time at a little restaurant on St-Laurent on the corner of Duluth called La Ravane.
All four of us had nothing but rave reviews for the food. If you are looking for something different than the regular fare, then I suggest you try this Mauritian restaurant. For the uninitiated, the island of Mauritius was a strategic pit-stop for all ships in the spice trade. So Mauritian dishes are a mish-mash of several different styles (Indian/Chinese/Italian/Spanish/French/etc.)
Nice ambiance with Creole (official language of Mauritius) music playing. Great, friendly staff, excellent portions, and very reasonable prices.
I am recommending this place to everyone, and will be going back very soon.
