Delicious chicken dish at Alborz in Berkeley

I like Alborz and tend to go there when I'm in Berkeley for a performance at Zellerbach hall. The food is always good, and the people who run it are delightful.

Usually I get fessenjoun, but this time I tried something else I spotted on the menu, hoping for something a little lighter...

Baked chicken with tomato, saffron and cinnamon.

This was just sublime. A bowl of fragrant broth with a leg and a breast, a few pieces of carrot, accompanied by a big plate of rice.
It was very homey, almost like a Persian version of Jewish chicken in a pot. My co-diner was jealous. I had to give him a lot of bites of mine...
