Delhi Club report

My female friend and I ate at Delhi Club in Clarendon last Tuesday, after Tom Sietsema reviewed it in Sunday's magazine section. While the food was very good, we were frustrated by slow service (it was quite busy for a Tuesday, probably due to the recent review) and one thing in particular: we asked to sit at the table in the window but were told we couldn't because it was a 4-top (really, just 2 tables pushed together). BUT, when a male/female couple arrived, they were seated there. And there were other empty 2-tops available at that time. Humpf.

Now, the food. Excellent samosas with a nice spicy kick. Garlic naan was fine, nothing special. Had a smoked eggplant dish, and a chicken entree cooked with coconut milk and pistachios (sorry, can't remember the name). Both were excellent.

Would I go back? Yes. But perhaps for take-out instead!
