Does deep frying chicken cause smoke?

cgxy96 | Mar 28, 2017 05:38 AM

I live in a loft dorm with a fire alarm. I can cook as long as it does not trigger the alarm. My friend have smoke a cigarette in my toilet and I have shallow fried eggs in olive oil on an induction stove before without a problem. Just wondering if I could deep fry some chicken, will it cause a lot of smoke? (Assuming they don't burn)
